Happy St. Patrick's Day

We went to an Irish Pub for boxty and fish & chips for lunch. The photos aren't the best quality (they are from Russ' phone), but he's still the cutest little Irish Monkey on the block!

Baby Monkey is 9 Months Old!

Baby Monkey is 9 months old had a great doctor's appointment...fun and flirtation with no shots! He weighed in at 19 lbs, 3 oz (35%) and was 29 inches long (75%). He's on target with the benchmarks, he claps, holds his own bottle, pulls himself up, crawls, and high-fives. The only thing on the checklist that he doesn't do is wave. So I guess we should start working on that skill. He also signs "more" but not regularly. He has signed more for food, and also when I was tickling him and he wanted me to keep going. Such a smart boy! He's moving on to more solid foods (Stage 3) as well as more finger foods, small pieces of fruits, veggies, toast, etc. He is also now eating meat, though we don't make those foods ourselves, we've started buying those pureed. We still do make his pureed fruits and veggies. It's not really hard and it is a lot cheaper! The doc is also having us switch formulas again, this time to Lipil AR (right after I bought 2 cans of formula on sale, of course).

And, since I know you're really here for the pictures...

We went to the park on this sunny afternoon, it was up to 65 degrees! This is actually the same park as the pictures from last year (October, maybe? the post is called Fun at Bruce Park) but he was able to enjoy a lot more!

I went to the park today!

I had a great time. I especially enjoyed looking at all the lovely ladies and flirting!

Mama and Daddy Monkey pushed me in the swing. Wheeee!

But my favorite part was riding on Daddy Monkey's shoulders. Giddyup!

"Real" Crawling

Baby Monkey now crawls the "real" way. He started on Sunday, crawling over the bed, and was doing it again today, so I grabbed the camera!!
